The smaller of the two engines offered in the all-wheel-drive versions is a 3.0L supercharged 6-cylinder engine producing 380hp.

2. Jeep Grand Cherokee

While Jeep is probably the most famous for their off-road SUV the Wrangler, they offer another SUV named the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Certain trim levels of the Grand Cherokee would be considered by many to be a luxury vehicle.

The Grand Cherokee is a 5 door SUV that Jeep began selling in 1993. The Grand Cherokee can be purchased in either front-wheel drive or 4 wheel drive options. Over the course of its production, the Jeep has been offered with both 6 and 8 cylinder engines.

Both the exterior styling and interior amenities help to define certain trim levels of the Grand Cherokee as a luxury vehicle. The Grand Cherokee now offers more luxurious interior appointments and features compared to previous-generation models, but still remains true to its off-road roots.

The Grand Cherokee is available with three choices of 4-wheel drive systems in addition to an air suspension system in certain models. Depending on the trim level chosen, the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L now offer such features as massaging seats, 3-row seating, passenger infotainment screen, and rear-seat screens capable of streaming Amazon Fire TV.

The current model year Cherokee also introduces a plug-in hybrid-powered variant for those who wish to reduce their carbon footprint. While the chart below lists specs for all trim levels of the Grand Cherokee, the luxury trim levels of the Grand Cherokee have been marked with an asterisk.
